Derek Ross—its all your fault

Bill Parcells has spoken, and former 2002 2nd round pick Derek Ross has been marked for termination. Ross’ sin? Two fumbles on kickoffs agains the Dolphins and missing a running session on Friday following the Dolphins Thanksgiving day beat down of the Cowboys. The cut comes after a Parcells talk about accountability and maturity to the Cowboys on Monday. Presumably, he gave the talk while walking around the team pounding a baseball bat into his palm. We’ll take the cutting of Ross as the figurative counterpart to smashing Ross’ head in with a baseball bat.
As for Ross, he was the Cowboys nickel back and was thought of highly when drafted. He will land somewhere on waivers immediately, and, one would guess, all the wiser about lying low when Parcells is looking to “motivate” his team.
