Bill Simmons’ latest missive from Jacksonville is posted (last night) and he spends the time writing about last weekend – which was spent with his family – so some TV and movie comments are therein, which is a good thing, Simmons’ takes on his family and pop culture comes close to his sweet spot. He also does not yet rip on Jacksonville (something most media are trying to avoid also), but, strangely enough, Jacksonville itself is so pre-defensive about how it is viewed, the local paper started the ripping for everyone. Weird.
