Baseball Nuggets
• Jeff Francoeur is getting married, but there are some issues. Here is one:
We are looking for a place for next November, but we have to work around Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn and Clemson football schedules. At least it won't depend on baseball. One bridesmaid dress I loved was red, but I knew if all the guys were in black tuxedos and the girls were all in red, those are Georgia colors, and he's not going to go for that.
• Stan The Man turns 86 today. He is one of the greatest baseball players ever, but is often forgotten in those discussions. Here are his career numbers.
• Vernon Wells is spending his off-season day-dreaming like a Powerball winner.
