It's a big day for Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn. Now they can learn the secret handshake and increase their appearance fees at baseball card shows. Ripken is still involved in baseball with his ownership of minor league teams. Gwynn, who's voice reminds me of BSG, is now weighing in at around 550lbs.
Ripken went in at 98.5%, Gwynn at 97.6%. Gossage was close with 71.2% which was 21 votes shy. There were two blank ballots. How could someone not vote for Ripken or Gwynn?
Mark McGwire? 23.5 percent of the vote.....
