Roto tip of the day: Jered Weaver's sore shoulder
Damn. This would suck. According to the LA Times, Jered Weaver has a sore shoulder, and it's something that has bothered him since high school. The bigger problem for fantasy owners is that there is no treatment for it. And Weaver's self-prescribed solution doesn't sound very, well, medical:
"The way I throw, it's going to be an issue -- I've had it since high school. It sticks around for a long time, and it's a matter of knocking it out. With my long mechanics and different arm slot, I put a little more stress on my shoulder."
Yeah, Jered. Go ahead and "knock out" the soreness in your shoulder. Rotoworld brings up another potential problem: "There's no guarantee the MRI detected what was really going on. It's time to start dropping him on draft lists."
