Elves take on Yankees

In honor of Red Auerbach the Sawx wore Celtic Green tonight as they played the Yanks at Fenway in Epsidoe 1 of 19. Perhaps a Friday night (the sabbath for Jewish people) is not the best way to honor Red, who was a devout Jew. What would you expect from a guy named Epstein?

The game, currently in the fourth inning, was punctuated by a non-clutch A-Rod homerun when the Yankees already had a lead. Way to pad those stats Alex.

Meanwhile in the booth, the immortal team of Karl Ravech, Dusty Baker and John Kruk have taken meaningless prattle to a new level. "I have no idea what 10% body fat is" "Melky Cabrera saved the Yankees season last year" "The Yankees would never hire me as a coach".

I do know how this will turn out. Dusty will leave Ravech in the game too long and he'll throw out his larynx.

The Sports Frog was started by a bunch of sports-loving friends in January 2003. We were nominated for a bloggie this year and we'd like to thank our ISP, all of your unobservant bosses, and God. (God loves us more than other blogs.) If you are here for the first time be sure to swing by The Swamp and say hello.
