The Friendliest Baseball Player Is…

When 464 major league baseball players were asked the question, “Who is the friendliest player in baseball?” what percentage of them do you think called the interviewer something that was printed on a Billy Ripken card? I don’t know. I would guess a lot though.
What I do know is that 46% of major leaguers (I am a math teacher, that is almost half!) selected the same player as “nicest.” I mean, this guy has played in both the NL and AL, so his amenability has reached everyone. He plays what I would say is the friendliest position. But 46%? What the hell does he do to earn such a reputation? The second place finisher got only 7%. Wow. Must be the best small-talker ever.
Do you know who it is? Check here if you don’t.
I can assure you DO know who they picked as the least friendly player. (ARod was 4th.)
