Well. No difficulty reading between those lines.
Everyone is still pretty much just reacting across the chattering classes. Selfishly, um, hey, Jerry West? You want to leave Memphis a going away present other than the pile of shit you presently intend to leave? Talk Kobe into accepting a trade to the Grizzlies and bring with him the Lakers’ pick in the first round, and then talk your buddy Kupchek into the pansy Spaniard, another player to make up the salary difference and the #4 overall that the Grizzlies have.
Then, deal Mike Miller somewhere for a center, sign a PG and I will actually renew my season tickets for next season. And, since Memphis has finally gotten around to hiring a coach (and a good one at that, welcome to Memphis Marc Iavaroni), maybe there is life in the carcass that is that franchise yet.
