Say. Didn't You Used to Be the Detroit Pistons?

As the fog from the injustice committed on the Phoenix Suns by Stu Jackson (think of Jackson in the "Zeke" role with the Suns as Marcellus Wallace) was starting to clear, it gradually sank into the sporting consciousness last night that the Bulls were rolling the Pistons in Game 5 in Detroit. In a series where the entire world, certainly me included, had written them off after they fell behind 3-0 while choking away a 19-point lead in Game 3.
Now, all of a sudden, the Bulls are a mere Game 6 win at home away from being only the fourth team in the NBA ever to force a Game 7 after being down three games to none. And if that comes to pass, we are at the anything-can-happen point. Chris McCosky in the Detroit News finds himself wondering just exactly where the panic button is located. In Chicago, the manic Jay Mariotti is happy again.
As for the rest of us, that series is now a nice interlude during off days in the hellaciously good Suns/Spurs series.
