NFL Europe - Nien, Nyet, Bollocks

The NFL has decided to fold up the tent on their European minor league experience. They will now concentrate on developing regular season international games. “Colleges are our minor leagues,” said one unidentified owner. “We should expect more from college programs as they exist only to provide a free minor league system for the NFL.”
I think they folded because the league was an embarrassment. There just weren’t enough NFL players getting arrested overseas. That is certainly a poor way to represent the league.
“We thank our fans for the great support in the past years,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was quoted as saying. (And now they can get satellite packages with more choices of games than us here in the states.)
