His Suffering is Apparent

Crucified by the lack of talent surrounding him, his bad coach, and NBA officials who lose whistles, Lebron James strikes a pose.
Oh, and the Spurs are damn good too. Above all else.
A quick thought on the horrible ratings for this Finals: not a surprise. The American public is not entirely dumb. The Spurs are so clearly better than the Cavs, and are so very capable of taking away the one reason to watch the series (Lebron James), that you are left with the lifeless carcass of an alleged big-time sporting event.
While we are here, do the Cavs even make the playoffs if they are in the Western Conference? I don't necessarily think they do. The West is that deep. And the Cavs are that one-dimensional.
At any rate, I think the series is 48 hours from having a bullet mercifully put in its brainpan. Or, perhaps, ABC might be prevailed upon to simply take the screen to black shortly after tip-off on Thursday night and start rolling credits four seconds later. Then people can still hold onto the hope that Lebron might do something marvelous and make the series worth watching. Better than the reality, at that point.
