Where do the Bills go when JP returns?
So Lee Evans, a player I think very highly of, thinks J.P. Losman is the team's starting quarterback when he returns for his knee injury.
Considering Losman has a career completion percentage under 60% and the Bills are not even a .500 team with Losman under center, I wonder how much Evans is considering the large difference between the way Trent Edwards throws deep passes compared to Losman.
Edwards is a 65-70% completion percentage kind of QB who isn't likely to test defenses as much deep. Edwards is also, to me at least, the better choice to lead Buffalo. He's only played two career games and he's already a better quarterback than Losman. Edwards main fault at this point is his history of taking sacks. He stands in the pocket too long and losses yards on too many plays. But his short to intermediate accuracy is right on, and the Bills best future is on his right arm, not J.P. 'Rob Johnson' Losman's.
