Despite the egg that the Magic laid last night, this really was a close series, well, as close as a five game series can be. Only game one and last night were blowouts, and the Magic’s two close losses could easily have been wins. However, even if they would have won last night–or left Orlando with a 3-2 lead for that matter–I still would have had the Lakers as the odds on favorites with two games at home.
Congratulations to everyone’s favorite Black Mamba for his fourth title, and Phil Jackson, who now has the top of the coaching titles list all to himself.
And that badass Pau Gasol. That Pietrus chest-bump was worth two titles alone.
