Foyer

For sale. At auction. Minimum bid $3.2 million. Bankruptcy is a bitch.

Not sure how much of a bidding war there will be in this particular housing market. The details on the house are quite something (follow the above link). I like this one:

Four towering columns greet those who enter through a double set of thick, wooden doors. Out back, an idyllic lake laps at the edge of the yard. Within the walls, all the telltale signs of wealth and luxury – a pool room, a movie theater, an indoor golf range, assorted-sized statues of black panthers throughout.

Assorted-sized statues of black panthers throughout?

This?

black panther cat

Or this?

black panther party

I hope it’s the latter. That would be pretty f*cking awesome.

An Open House for the Ages for the Curious

I presume my wife and I are not the only ones who will occasionally check out open houses of neighbors to get a feel for how much square footage etc. the homes that are selling in the ‘hood contain. Maybe how nice they are decorated. Etc.

Then there’s the open house in Virginia for Mike Vick’s dog-fighting estate. What would you think, roughly 10 of every 10 walking through that are curiosity seekers? 11 of 10?
